Entertaiment

Entertaiment

Entertaiment is the activity of putting on a show for the enjoyment of others. It can be active, as in watching a play or movie, or passive, as in playing games. It is a common element in the activities of all cultures. The word entertainment derives from the Latin inter tenere, meaning “to hold inside” or “to support.” The prefix inter means “inside,” and the suffix -tene means to keep up.
